Property Grounds

Living here in Tuscany we spend more time in the areas out of doors than in inside the house and there are many places to play, to eat, practice Yoga, relax in the sun, sit by the fire, tend to the garden, swim or just simply read in a hammock.The growing season is long and you can grow your own vegetables in the fenced garden with its irrigation system. There  are also many varieties of fruit trees growing on the property, including : fig, cherry, pear, apple, plum, mulberry, pomegranate, elderflower, walnut etc. There is a second, smaller  greenhouse (complete with lights, electricity, irrigation system, and automatic ventilation roof windows) near to the garden to extend the growing season. By the pool there is ample space for sunning with lounge chairs and umbrellas. There is also a large (35 mt2) deck for whatever activities you desire and a beautiful antique gazebo with a handmade glass, iron and wood table and chairs. There is big playground with monkey bars, swings, long slide, climbing nets and a full size professional ping pong table. If you choose to keep hens there is already a sizeable (16 Mt2) henhouse with a large compost area not far from the its entry. In different areas of the Agriturismo there are three large wood/storage sheds for tools, eqipment, winter wood and garden supplies.Our favourite sunrise spot is a large handmade swing that is down below agriturismo above the sloping field of walnut trees and between  a seven year old weeping willow and a young cherry tree where you can watch the sunrise over the mountains. During the early Summer evenings this is a spectacular place to watch the thousands of magical fireflies.
